Free Rehabilitation

Some people hardly think of health insurance, which can cover most of the drug/alcohol rehab till they are badly in need of it. It turns out to be a huge headache when anybody in the family all of a sudden suffers from severe drug addiction. A lot of families don’t ever think of preparing for those sorts of things. Just see if that kind of situation happens to any of the typical low earning groups of families. How on the earth are they supposed to afford roughly $30,000 to pay for one of those privatized rehab program? Fortunately, there are a couple of ways around to it. Read ahead to know more…

Over 3,000 free rehab centers are currently operating in the nation
Luckily, you will be able to find over 3,000 organization operating as free rehab centers. They are located at different coasts. These rehab centers are programmed and designed to meet your need. In other words, they do not cater your rehab needs on the basis of your financial strength or viability. You’ll be able to find info on them if you take the trouble of looking into the social department in your locality. They’ll help you by providing all the essential info you need.

Free Rehab can help if your income is low.

Free Rehab - Beds programs for low income people

If you’re not able to find any free rehab service center within your locality, it would be a good idea to search for one of those private facilities that offer rehab services with impressive subsidized care. It’s not absolutely free, though. Still, fees at these rehab centers are imposed based on what your current earning situation or financial solvency is. The bottom line here is that, they impose the fees based on your abilities to pay their bills. You do not have to worry at all about their treatments offered. This is because they’ll provide you with the same kind of treatment other solvent people receive (who pay more).

Free Rehab - Not-for-profit Treatment Centers

There’re a lot of not for profit ventures within the US. They are dedicated to serve the nation’s lower income group. They are also meant to serve the uninsured participants. You’ll be able to find a comprehensive listing in the social services within your locality. You’ll only have to find them. A number of such social organizations are currently offering thoroughly comprehensive program coupled with a homely and calm environment.

Local Gospel Missions

Such programs can provide you with free rehab services. These services have an ‘open to all’ policy. Your level of earning is not any question with these services if you are able to prove that you are believer in God Faith. That is all they usually ask for to help you get out of the claw of drug addiction. It’s an attractive free rehab option for people who don’t have anywhere to turn to for getting these treatments. These Gospel Missions have successfully positioned and marketed themselves by offering treatment, sanctuary as well as hope!

Sober Living Homes

This could be another alternative for you that you could choose. These sober living homes are extremely inexpensive. They’re ready to provide you with longer term sober dwelling along with caring environment to help your recovery process. However, you’ll have to be present at their usual meetings (very seriously) in the period when you reside on that area.

The average free rehab center involves 28-day stay. That’s the average though. For the paid versions of rehab centers, the cost is over $400 every day. This could add up to lots of expenditures for drug addicts or alcoholics who are already in financial owe due to their compulsive and ‘out of control’ addiction.

A lot of younger people these days are suffering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. These people are so severely addicted that they do not realize the consequences of such an addiction. Not only are they increasing their chances to suffer from severe diseases and even a painful death, but they also neglect daily activities and suffer from withdrawal symptoms if asked to reduce their consumption. Hence they desperately need a rehab – a medical and psychotherapeutic treatment to help deal with the addiction.

But such a treatment can really dent your wallets. And most times people are not unable to afford such high costs, nor have they taken a health insurance cover to help them cover these costs. Hence, if you are one of those and are looking for free rehab options, don’t be disheartened! This article will enlighten you with some of the free options available:

Free public benefit services: There are a number of these free public benefit services for alcohol and drug rehab all over. Run by the government, they provide treatment for free. Since they collaborate with Insurance Providers and private sponsors, they are able to offer free services.

But the downside of these public services is that in some countries you need to be below a certain income level to attain the service. Hence there a number of people stuck in the middle – They are too rich for these services, but too poor to fund themselves.

‘Low income bed’ policies: This is essentially subsidized care provided by private facilities. Yes it is true that most private rehab facilities wish to make money, and hence are not non-profit, but often those who have suffered the same problem before, start these institutions, and hence they understand the money crunch situation. Hence a lot of the private drug rehabs reserve some beds for people who cannot afford such treatments. You might have to pay little bit, but you will get the same treatment as those pay thousand of dollars.

Gospel Missions: If you are willing to participate in a Faith based rehab program, and do not mind ordinary lodgings, these services provided by Gospel Missions can really be helpful. These are often long term treatments, but free care and sanctuaries are provided. These missions can surely chart your road to recovery at no cost.

Sober Living Houses: If you are looking at an inexpensive option that isn’t as intense as a proper drug rehab centre, these sober living housing can be a great option. They provide a therapeutic environment and long term care facilities. You usually will need to regularly attend meetings as long as you are in these housings.

In essence, if you are looking for free or inexpensive rehab options, you do not necessarily need to sweat over the huge costs. There are a number of options to choose from. You just need to find the ones available where you live...and you can surely get better.

I cannot speak for all the locations of "The Cove" but I will say that "The Cove" in Ft. Lauderdale is totally misrepresented. The program, the staff, and the housing

was nothing like we read or were told before admission. The staff was the worst part, the fact that there really wasn't any, for the adult program. My son wound up worst than when he went there because they neglected his medical needs--3 different doctor appts. because they didn't want to take him, and they had no driver or staff to do it. During his stay there was an average of 12 or 13 patients. Besides a tech (babysitter) for each shift there was only 1 therapist and this nasty old ex addict who is the facility Mgr. In my personal dealings with them I was able to see and concur with my son that the therapist is an idiot and the old guy just wants to talk about himself and obviously has no educational background to run any kind of a facility.

Most of the patients there were ones that ins wouldn't cover somewhere else, or they had relapsed and kicked out of another facility. Wise advice I was given by a guy who runs a sober living house said-the Best places, legitimate programs, ones who care about this process are the ones that give No Chances!!! Their policy is NO substance

and if you do, then you are kicked out. The Cove Mgr. said 3 strikes and your OUT

so they obviously let patients stay and stay, especially when they are getting insurance money. The Cove in Fla. is bad news--everyone there hated it
