Face Acne

Almost everybody has acne - more or less. And everybody wants to keep it away and have a soft, smooth and clear facial skin. Unfortunately, people lack the basic know-how to fight face acne. While teens put great efforts with this, they usually turn to typical bottled cleansers or alcoholic solutions. But are these the best acne treatments?

Probably not! A little care and maintenance can work like a mild, yet effective technique against facial acne. And who doesn’t know that prevention is better than cure? Here're some ways that’ll help you cure face acne and also avoid getting it in the first place… enjoy!

First things first… if you have a habit of (a bad one, actually) touching your face consciously or unconsciously – quit it! DO NOT touch the face, since it’s delicate. The oils that are oozed naturally from the fingers can actually clog skin pores and eventually create an unhealthy ripe environment on the skin.

This is, as you might guess, ideal for those acne pimples to grow. Some teens keep touching their faces unconsciously while they’re sitting in the classroom or studying. Most of us don’t know that even casually resting the palm on the cheek or chin could be enough to initiate an acne attack.

Secondly, mild liquid soaps can works pretty well on face acne. Avoid using those harsh cleansers to cleanse your face. There’re a lot of acne treatments out there, but probably the best acne care would be to apply milder liquid face soap. But make sure that the soap suits your skin type. For most people cleansing twice everyday makes sense.

But be sure to use a soft washcloth here and rinse thoroughly. And AVOID rubbing your skin too hard – even if you’re using a super-soft washcloth. This might get your face raw and prone to acne infections. Likewise, apply lukewarm water rather than hot water on face acne pimples. Lukewarm water is not as harsh and we don't want the skin raw, right?

And squeezing the acne pimples is absolute NO-NO! Same goes for blackheads. That way you’ll almost definitely end up with ugly scars on the face which may last a lifetime! Technically speaking, when acne pimples are squeezed, the fingers dump oil in and/or around that spot. This makes it even harder for your facial skin to avoid an acne attack.

Be sure to wash up your hands carefully before you wash your face. This helps keep your washcloth clean for following facial cleansing sessions. And at times, when you’ve got a severe face acne problem, applying a mild liquid soap with your hands can help, since this you’ll avoid chaffing of any kind from your washcloth this way. But here again… be sure to keep your hands super clean! And be sure to consult a dermatologist before you actually start any facial cleansing regime.

And here are some final words… You got to understand that face acne is a skin problem that the majority of the people (both males and females) suffer from at some stages in their lives. While face acne is a mild issue for many, others experience quite devastating appearance – especially throughout their post-pubescent years. And the unfortunate truth is, for some people, blackheads or pimples are lifelong problems that stick stubbornly.

That’s why, like said earlier, you got to make sure you are applying both prevention and cure for deterring your face acne problem. Luckily, controlling your acne can turn out to be simple if you build up a controlled and careful lifestyle. Some people do find great results by changing diet pattern or applying cleansing regimens on a regular basis.
